Five free talks & tastings are planned throughout the day – book for one or come for all. This is your chance to not only learn about everything that goes into making perry, from bud to bottle, but also to taste your way through some of the finest bottles from our makers’ cellars, and to see for yourself some of the fascinating pears that go into these drinks.

11am: Character and history from multi-award-winning James Marsden, Gregg’s Pit, and the rare pear champion himself, Albert Johnson, Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry.
12noon: Small batches and new faces, with Jeremy Harris, Cwm Maddoc, and Redvers’ David Nash, in conversation with Adam Wells of Cider Review
1pm: Gabe Cook, the Ciderologist, joins the world-renowned Tom Oliver, Oliver’s Cider & Perry, to rifle through his trophy-winning perry list
2pm: Natural sparkles, classic techniques and single varietals from Susanna Forbes, Little Pomona, and Martin Harris, Butford Organics.
3pm: Environment and fruit to the fore, as Paul Stephens, Newton Court Cider, and Lydia Crimp, Artistraw Cider, take you through their favourites.
Throughout the day – meet the pears themselves, with our pop-up exhibition from the National Perry Pear Collection, Hartpury.
